Being a calligrapher is a very lucky and gentle path in life that focuses on creating beauty and working on pieces that have meaning and significance for others.

It takes many hours and years of practice to learn The Copperplate Script and these days it is a beauty almost lost to
The UK.
None of my work is digitally enhanced.

I am interested in the heritage of Copperplate and over time have trained my hand to its discipline, complexity and elegance. I use vintage nibs, traditional penholders                                                         and handmade paints and inks sourced from calligraphy contacts around the world.

I am a member of The Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen and will be participating in events later         in the year. A selection of my work will soon be available at The Guild Shop in Cheltenham
